7th and 8th Humanities classes looking to exchange abroad! 7th graders learn about origami and paper cranes during our Japanese Culture Unit, and 8th graders learn about the atomic bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, hibakusha, and peace education in our WWII unit. I hand delivered a senbazuru (1000 paper cranes) to the Peace Park in Hiroshima in 2024, and we participated in the Peace Crane Project senbazuru last school year. Would love to exchange cranes and foster dialogue!
